  • Sophie Simpleton Competition – Terms and Conditions

    1. Eligibility:

       - The competition is open to legal residents of Australia only.

       - Participants must be at least 8 years of age. 

       - Employees, agents, and affiliates of the promoter, as well as their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.


    2. Entry Period:

       - The competition opens on 29.8.24 and closes on 30.9.24 at midnight AEST.

       - Entries received outside this period will not be considered.


    3. How to Enter:

       - To enter, participants must insert their first name and their email address via the competition form on the website - pgjames.com.

       - Only one entry per person is allowed. Multiple entries will result in disqualification.


    4. Prizes:

       - There are 12 copies of "The UN-Extraordinary Life Of Sophie Simpleton" to be won.

       - Each winner will receive one signed hard copy of the book.

       - Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other alternatives.


    5. Winner Selection and Notification:

       - Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries.

       - The draw will take place on 1.10.24 and winners will be notified by email within 24 hours after the draw.

       - If a winner does not respond within 48 hours of notification, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.


    6. Delivery of Prizes:

       - Prizes will be delivered to the winners at the addresses provided once contacted via email.

       - The promoter is not responsible for any lost or delayed prizes.


    7. General:

       - The promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the competition in the event of any unforeseen circumstances outside its reasonable control.

       - The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters related to the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

       - By entering, participants agree to these terms and conditions and to the promoter’s use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.


    8. Privacy:

       - Personal information provided by participants will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and will not be shared with third parties, except as necessary for the administration of the competition.

       - Participants have the right to access, rectify, or delete their personal information by contacting the promoter.
